Putting in eye drops can be HARD if you have hand pain from arthritis or difficulty with hand stability & coordination!

Here are two arthritis friendly eye drop products that might help (note: this is *not* a sponsored post but I did receive the Gentle Squeeze for free in exchange for my honest opinion; I purchased Droppy on my own to try it out):

1) Gentle Squeeze – this product is designed to make it easier to aim the drops, which is great if you have difficulties with body awareness (due to poor proprioception or general coordination difficulties), tremors or difficulty with hand stability .

It’s super easy to put the eye drop bottle into the device and to rest it on the bridge of your nose so it aims the drop into your eye.

However, it does not reduce the force required to squeeze the drops, which is an issue for many with hand arthritis / pain (including me when I’m in a flare).

2) Droppy this is designed to help you not only aim the drops but also reduce the force required to squeeze the drops, in much the same way that the “UnbuckleMe” seat belt opener is designed. I found it easy to use and appreciate that my thumbs hurt less when using this device!

You can find links to these and my other favorite arthritis products page – these are Amazon “affiliate links” which means I earn a small commission if you purchase directly from my link, just fyi.
