What the Podcast Is All About
On the Arthritis Life Podcast, host Cheryl Crow shares real patient stories, expert interviews, practical life hacks, and more, all designed to help you feel more empowered and less alone.
Meet Your Host

Cheryl Crow brings both professional and personal expertise: she is an occupational therapist who has lived with rheumatoid arthritis for over 20 years, since age 21. She weaves her lived experience with evidence-based resources and expert insights to help listeners improve quality of life and learn how to thrive—not just survive—with inflammatory autoimmune conditions. She’s also the creator and head facilitator for the Rheum to THRIVE empowerment and support program!
Why This Podcast Exists
At its heart, this show asks: How can we thrive alongside rheumatic disease today – not in some potential future day when everything “gets better?” Each episode explores what thriving looks like in different contexts, life stages, and personal circumstances.
Special Series: Rheumer Has It!
Starting in mid 2025, Cheryl teamed up with fellow patient advocate Eileen Davidson (also known as “Chronic Eileen”) for a special series called “Rheumer Has It.” Their mission? To bust myths, highlights evidence and inspire hope for living better with rheumatic disease. These episodes are shorter than the typical Arthritis Life Podcast episodes, and each focus on a specific set of myths or misconceptions, such as:
- Busting Medication Myths, with Dr. Glen Hazelwood
- Separating Myth from Fact for Nutrition and Rheumatic Disease, with Eileen & Cheryl
- Axial Spondyloarthritis Myths and Facts, with Dr Jean Liew
